4.Types of parthenocarpy

1. Vegetative parthenocarpy:-  without pollination and due to the absence of pollination, no seeds are produced within the fruits.

2.Stimulative parthenocarpy:-  requires pollination but not fertilization.

3.Sternospermocarpy:- A mechanism which produces near-seedless fruits in plants, this is derived from three Greek word ‘steno’ -meaning ‘narrow’ ‘spermo’– meaning ‘seed’‘ and ‘carpy’fruit
