1. Chokla Sheep |
I. Being a Best fine Carpet wool breed.
II. The skin is pink. III. The ears are small to medium in length and tubular. IV. It is also known as Chokla Bikaneri, Margah & Nali. V. Best Indian Wool purpose. VI. Chokla is also called merino of rajsthan. VII. Staple length is about 5-6 cm. |
2. Hissardale Sheep |
I. It is developed by Crossed b/w Australian Merino rams and Bikaneri (Magra) ewes at the Government Livestock Farm, Hissar.
II. Average body weight of rams and ewes are 54 and 34 kg respectively. III. Wool is of superior quality yield 2-3 kg per annum. |
